RemainingWeeks

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

RemainingWeeks is built to be private by design. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The short version: your data stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud.

Information the app stores

To calculate the time you have, the app stores the following on your device:

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for the app, this data is synced through Apple's CloudKit to your own private iCloud database so it follows you across your devices. It is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no servers and cannot access this data.

Location

If you tap "detect my country," the app uses your location once, on your device, only to match your country for the life-expectancy estimate. Your location is not stored and is never transmitted to the developer. You can also pick your country manually instead.

Notifications

Daily inspiration, milestone alerts, and the weekly reflection reminder are local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.

Purchases

RemainingWeeks Pro is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. All payment processing is handled by Apple — the developer never receives or stores your payment details. Subscription status is verified directly with Apple.

What the app does not do

Your control & data deletion

You can edit or delete your countdowns and reflections at any time inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device. To remove synced data, you can manage or delete the app's iCloud data from Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device.

Children

RemainingWeeks is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
